Indulge in the aromatic glory of freshly dug truffles straight from our paddock..

Join us at 10am on Saturday 24 June 2023 for a unique truffle hunt and cooking demonstration set amongst the towering Karri trees of our beautiful Southern Forests property in Manjimup, WA. Follow the delightful Solly – truffle dog extraordinaire – as he guides you to truffle treasure buried beneath Millgrove’s oak and hazelnut truffière. Harvest, hold and inhale a Millgrove ‘star of winter’ to fully experience the truffle’s sensory delights.

After your hunt, head on up to the fireside truffle-infused brunch, prepared by Pascale from Free Range Homestead and indulge your senses with gourmet delights. While enjoying your lunch, Pascale will do a cooking demonstration, share truffle infusion techniques and explain the process of caring for and storing fresh truffles.

Each truffle hunt experience lasts for a generous two hours and will be sure to leave you full of truffle insights and sensory delights. Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment – we look forward to seeing you soon.

What to wear: Be prepared for the weather, the average winter temperature in Manjimup is 15º/7 º and we have around 15-17 days of rain each month. Although the orchard and much of our property is accessible, there is some uneven ground, please wear comfortable shoes.

Food & Drink: After the hunt, we’ll serve truffle-infused food and light refreshments including seasonal soup, gourmet cheese toasties and something sweet by the fire. (Fresh truffles sales will be available for cooking unique truffle-infused dishes in your own kitchen or to gift to someone special)
