Leanne and Scott Johnstone of Millgrove Truffles invite you join them in the afternoon of Saturday 26 June 2021 to share in a unique truffle hunt set amongst the towering Karri trees of their beautiful Southern Forests property in Manjimup, WA. Follow the delectable Solly – truffle dog extraordinaire – as his trained nose homes in on the indescribable aroma emanating from black truffles buried beneath Millgrove’s oak and hazelnut truffière. Harvest, hold and inhale a Millgrove ‘star of winter’ and then head up the hill to a fireside cup of billy tea and enjoy a truffle-infused gourmet cheese toastie while learning about the science, history and ongoing mystery of truffles from science communicator Dr Janet Paterson. Each truffle hunt experience lasts for a generous two and a half hours and will be sure to fill you full of truffle insights and sensory delights. We look forward to seeing you soon.
