To celebrate the 2024 season, Millgrove Truffles is collaborating with Free Range Living to offer an exclusive truffle hunting experience. Indulge in the aromatic glory of freshly dug truffles straight from our paddock.

Join us at 11am on Saturday 29 June 2024 for a unique truffle hunt set amongst the towering Karri trees of our beautiful Southern Forests property in Manjimup, WA. Follow the delightful Solly – truffle dog extraordinaire – as he guides you to truffle treasure buried beneath Millgrove’s oak and hazelnut truffière. Harvest, hold and inhale a Millgrove ‘star of winter’ to fully experience the truffle’s sensory delights.

After your truffle hunt, head up to the fireside truffle-infused lunch, prepared by Pascale from Free Range Homestead and indulge your senses with gourmet delights. While enjoying your lunch, you can learn about the science, history, and ongoing mystery of truffles.

Fresh truffles sales will be available so you can take some home to make your own unique truffle-infused dishes or as a gift for someone special.

What to wear: Be prepared for the weather, the average winter temperature in Manjimup is 15º/7 º and we have around 15-17 days of rain each month. Although the orchard and much of our property is accessible, there is some uneven ground, please wear comfortable shoes.

Food & Drink: After the hunt, we’ll serve truffle-infused food and light refreshments including seasonal soup, gourmet cheese toasties and something sweet by the fire. Fresh truffle will be available for sale so you can take some home to make your own unique truffle-infused dishes or as a gift for someone special.
