Join us on the afternoon of Saturday 23 July 2022 for a unique truffle hunt set amongst the towering Karri trees of our beautiful Southern Forests property in Manjimup, WA. Follow the delectable Solly – truffle dog extraordinaire – as his trained nose homes in on the indescribable aroma emanating from black truffles buried beneath Millgrove’s oak and hazelnut truffière. Harvest, hold and inhale a Millgrove ‘star of winter’ and then head up the hill to a fireside cup of billy tea and enjoy a truffle-infused gourmet cheese toastie while learning about the science, history and ongoing mystery of truffles. Each truffle hunt experience lasts for a generous two hours and will be sure to fill you full of truffle insights and sensory delights. What to wear: Be prepared for the weather, the average winter temperature in Manjimup is 15º/7 º and we have around 15-17 days of rain each month. Although the orchard and much of our property is accessible, there is some uneven ground, please wear comfortable shoes.

Food & Drink: After the hunt and sensory experience exploring the virtues of truffles, we’ll serve a cup of billy tea and a truffle-infused gourmet cheese toastie. Please note any dietary requirements in the notes section at the checkout and we’ll make every attempt to accommodate your needs.

The health and safety of our visitors is our highest priority. We ask that you register on arrival at Millgrove and follow current Government health advice. Please don’t attend if you feel unwell, have a temperature of 38 degrees or higher OR have any flu like symptoms.
